Short Hiatus

I hate doing this, but I’m only halfway through painting next week’s comic and I know I won’t have the ability to finish it. There’s been a lot going on in my personal life and it’s beginning to affect me very negatively, so I need some time just to handle it.

I don’t really know what else to say, except that if I’m quiet, it’s because my energy levels are low at the best of times, and when they’re not… I just don’t know how to explain all of this.

It’ll get better. I’ll be back. Things are just kind of bad right now for creativity.

I’ll try and post a doodle for Monday at least, but I don’t think I can guarantee even that bit.

  1. if I may, what sort of issues? If they involve people, I ( and some other, ahem, grey-black hats) can make them regret what they did…

  2. I’ve not commented before, but I’ve been enjoying this truly marvelous story for some time now, and I thought it was high time that I piped up. What you’re doing with this tale–exploring a reconciliation and contact between two different species, each as alien to each other as they would be to humans–is truly unique, and the themes and characters are only complemented by your exquisite art and attention to detail. Thank you very, very much for telling this story, and don’t beat yourself up for missing a deadline; sometimes life just gets nasty, and there’s naught that can be done about it. Rest, recuperate, do whatever needs to be done to get your emotional state back on track, and we’ll welcome you back when you’re well again.

    1. Aw, thank you. I’m so glad for readers like you, and I appreciate the encouragement a lot. I took a break to take care of myself and that helped a lot. There’s going to be a comic next week and I can just keep it all rolling from there, but there’s nothing that helps more than knowing that you guys care.

I’m blessed with some really awesome people here at Prophecy of the Circle. Thanks again. 🙂

  3. I’m sure that all of the readers are more then understanding. And if you think that you need a hiatus, then we’re all glad that you took one.
I hope it will all get better for you, and I’m sure that all the readers are willing that too.

And remember what Oscar Wilde have said once: Life are far too important too be taken seriously 🙂

    1. That is a terribly important thing to remember! Thank you. XP It turned out that taking a break has been the absolute correct choice and I’m doing a lot better. Thank you so much for the support! It means the world to me.

Next week the comic continues and with any luck it’ll keep rolling along just fine after that.
