I’ve been thinking about it even before I started doing commissions… but with the NSFW art that I’ve been doing recently, I think I’m going to change up the tiers a bit starting tomorrow (unless I hear through feedback that you guys would rather see something different happen).
I know that not everyone wants to see NSFW artwork (I’m personally someone who likes to be able to turn it off) so I want to post it here on Patreon in its own tier that you would have to purposely opt in to.
The way I’m going to do it is that I’m thinking I’ll get rid of the $10 tier – all of my writing, rough or not, is going to go into $5 instead. Frankly, it was feeling a bit lonely at the top, anyway, so I think this is a better option. (If you’re already in the $5 tier, I’ll be moving all of my previous writing posts into your tier so you’ll have access to the backlog). I want $5 to be my highest base price tag from here on out, and anyone who wants to pay more (some do, and I’m grateful–!) can do a custom pledge amount. If you don’t want to, then you get it all for $5/month.
The NSFW tier is going to be a separate $5 tier now that Patreon offers the ability to have more than one tier at the same dollar amount, so you can pick – all the art without the NSFW content or all the art PLUS the NSFW content. If you’re currently in the $5 tier, you’ll be in the one without NSFW art unless you decide to opt-in.
And, of course, unlike most of my art, none of the NSFW art would ever be posted publicly here on Patreon due to their content restrictions. The “early access” aspect of it is that the finished pieces it would eventually appear on the likes of Fur Affinity and other NSFW-supportive platforms – just none of the in progress sketches and inks or any time lapses I do in the future that are on the sexy side. Those would stay Patreon exclusive.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Profound dislike and thrown tomatoes? Let me know what you think. I’ll switch it over tomorrow so I can queue up some of the commissions I’ve completed over the last two days, but I’ll try and wait until evening.
