These panels are simple , but especially in the pencilled version they look good to me. I like the composition on panel two, I like how Derec’s holding the scroll in panel three… And apologies if sometimes I just talk about what I’m pleased with. I think self-affirmation is good for artists. Drawing is freakin’ hard sometimes and it’s easy to fall into negative spirals.
