I make ridiculous extra doodles while i’m drawing – stupid frowny faces as placeholders for actual character expressions are the most common that no one sees, but second is the little punctuation marks I love to stick over peoples’ heads.
And sometimes I just go ahead and ink them in and go with it.
It’s a throwback to the dumb comic books I’d read as a kid and I swear, they just give me life.
