I used to keep my characters very solidly within the borders of panels. I still do most of the time because I just didn’t have the time on my own to fiddle with unconventional borders with my somewhat limited Photoshop skills (I’m good at painting in it, but not so much at actual editing). Tim makes all kinds of things possible. I should remember that I can get a bit more funky with the art in the future.
