Ooooooh, lucky to live among the lakes and the forests and the beavers, or at least so says I. XD I have family in Vancouver so I visit every year or so, and it’s one of my favorite places to go if I have to get on a plane. Nifty. ๐Ÿ™‚

All this speculation. Love it. ;P I’ll just let Calterra tell her own story, though, if she’s willing. We’ve heard so little directly from her mouth.

I quite like the body language as well, and panel 8 where the visitor appears to be kind of worried about their health (is that a sore throat? nhoooo!) ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s so nice to have the time to comment again ๐Ÿ˜€
Well, whatever it is that makes Calterra be so defensive, I bet that there’s a dark secret involved in this. I mean, it looks like there’s more that guides her actions than the betrayal by the Orosians that she feel.
As always, great job on facial exprecions, and I like the way the cloths of the ‘intruder’ Tikedi is painted.

I was about to dismiss all you all suggested about Jahrd’s parentage being unclear, but then I remembered that pesky “About” page (http://www.prophecyofthecircle.com/world/the-circle-and-the-balance-2/tikedi/#.U88LCvldVDJ) that said Tikedi are born from eggs. And that they are always born in pairs. I can see all kinds of possible secrets coming from this: Jahrd’s egg not from who we thought? Jacind and Calterra more closely related than we thought? Something else I haven’t even come close to thinking of?

It makes me sweat Meghan’s devious designs all the more. I’m sure she mentioned that bit about the eggs for a reason . . .

Holy Moly almost makes me wonder if calterra is Jahred’s mom but he just doesnt know it yet

I’m suspecting it has something to do with Shanka and/or Balta. I don’t think she knows about the possible Tekk vengeance, else that’d be a good reason too.

Calterra being secretly Jahrd’s mother kind of implies that she and Jacind have been surreptitiously bleaching his fur for years without him noticing. Which… is possible. I’m not sure how much attention he pays to other Tarsin.

Oh hey, I didn’t know you were Canadian! Cool! =D Which end of this land do you hail from? I wish there were more Canadian webcomics, too, but I’m happy to contribute, in the meanwhile. ๐Ÿ™‚
