Filler Art: Oros Triptych

Some sketches I whipped up over the course of the last week. When left to my own devices, I have a weakness for messy, messy art. =P

Trying to focus on who our little trio is, since we’ll be back with them next scene.

    ive got a question meghan.
would it be possible to design a kind of predator tekk.
Like full Reptile a bit bigger and more dragon like.
    just askin

Well, it would pretty much cease being a tekk around the point that it becomes a reptile, and more dragon-like (depending on your vision of what that entails; in my mind about the only thing missing is fire-breathing) would… essentially just make it a dragon. Bigger though, sure. Some tekk do actually get pretty dang massive already.

Also, technically speaking, they already are predators since they hunt rather than scavenge. They’re just, ah, socially conscious. Most of the time. Ah’tekk’s a bit of a thug.

I agree with Llama 118 the sinlgle colored panal are different in a good way. Plus it shows all the work you put into the lines as well.

Thanks. I’ve been doing a lot of sketching lately and it’s fuuuunnn. =D I’m actually much more at home making a mess than I am producing anything clean and complete, despite what the comic shows.

I adore these, the simplicity of the coloration really draws out the detail in your linework :D You should make them available as wallpapersssss <3

That’s not to say your normal artwork isn’t good, it’s just that with that a lot of the detail comes in the form of brilliant coloration instead of being from the lines as much. Oh, whatever, keep up the good work regardless d:

Heheh, no worries. I think there’s actually a scientific reason why sketches generally appeal more than clean linework does (not that linework isn’t nice, but sketches have this feel to them… I love it, too). I read it somewhere that the loose lines of a sketch more closely mimic how we see the real world or somesuch. Either way, I know what you mean. =P

As for wallpapers… I think it could be arranged. :) I need to do a slight overhaul of the menubar so I can squeeze in a place to house them, but it should be easy enough to do.
