  1. Looking at Jacind now, I can’t decide if he’s acting on some noble convictions or just the Stockholm syndrome.

Am I a bad person for rooting for Tieke abolishing the Circle altogether?

    1. Considering that one of the biggest themes of this story is that there is an absolute dearth of people truly serving the causes of black or white and an abundance who are sort of steeped in muddy gray… Nah. Some of the people I write about would agree with you, to one extent or another, through one means or another, and passing a unanimously agreed-upon judgement of any of them is a lot more difficult a prospect than it would seem.

Jacind’s a great example. It all depends on what angle you squint at him from.

  2. man oh man Jacind really knows how tro pick them eh -chkls- Meg why do you gotta torment us by making us wait when things start to get really in tense lol

  3. I sense some technology from the Tieke Goddess keeping the Tekk alive… after all, best way to figure a way to kill something is to study a live subject, after all!

    1. Sure seems likely that they used something like that. Back in the Interlude, Ah’tekk was giving the impression that if Teyka were to miraculously show up again, he’d be the first in line to turn her into Scooby Snacks.

  4. You can tell now why Ah’tekk hate the Tieke so much… poor lizard. But at least I was right with my theory for once ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. You were! I applauded when I saw your earlier comment because whoo, someone totally got where I was going with all of this. ๐Ÿ˜€ Ah, poor Ahโ€™tekk. He needs serious therapy after this one.
