Like TimmCosplay said, he’s meant to have a really floppy mohawk. A couple of examples of when I got it looking the best: here and here and here.
I could see it being a bit hard to tell where hair ends and head begins in the monochrome, admittedly. But even ignoring the exact precision of hair floppage, he’s still got that big patch of color over one eye and his fancy little gemstone-clasp cape to give him away.

It’s Myrnak. He does have a mohawk, it’s just unstyled and falls over to one side. You can see this effect in the bottom right of the last panel.
